About Katie
I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders and a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology. I have worked with students aged 3-18 in a variety of settings including public schools, private schools, special education schools, and private facilities. In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling, exercising, and discovering new coffee shops.

I currently work with high school students at an independent school. I hold a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology and have a strong interest in working with students with Language Based Learning Disabilities (LBLD). When working with new students, it is important that we build a strong rapport and foundation. Meeting students where they are at is a method I use so students do not get overwhelmed or frustrated. It is important that students look forward to coming to tutoring sessions, are engaged, and grow during their time spent with me. I enjoy creating individualized lesson plans to accommodate to each students learning needs and style.
