About Murat

I am a linguist and teacher from Germany, currently living in Toronto. I have a Bachelor's degree in Education and a Master's in Linguistics. I have over 4 years of full-time classroom experience in addition to tutoring. Before I moved to Canada, I was teaching German to newcomers in Germany. I am currently continuing my career as a German teacher by giving private German lessons and working at a German school in Ontario.

About the lesson

I am a linguist from Germany who grew up multilingual: German, English and Turkish. I have been a language geek my whole life and as a lifelong language learner, I know both the challenges and the rewards of learning a new language. In my lessons, I don't just focus on grammar and conjugations, but I keep things dynamic with a mix of activities that cover listening, reading, speaking, and writing, because I want you to use the language confidently. My lessons are fun, engaging, and tailored to your goals. Whether you want to learn German for fun or in order to pass your German proficiency exam, I am your guy.
