About Frida
My name is Frida. I am a language educator and researcher, specializing in Applied Linguistics. I have experience working with diverse learners, mainly in Mexico and Canada. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable learning at their own pace while developing strong communication skills.

As a tutor, I implement a student-centred approach, which is characterized by being interactive, reflective and communicative. I believe that learning a language is not only about learning vocabulary and grammar, but also getting immersed into the culture in which the language is spoken. Also, I consider that learning becomes more meaningful when students actively use language in authentic contexts.
I work with beginner to advanced Spanish learners, university students, heritage speakers, students interested in conversation practice, academic Spanish learners, learners who want to improve their confidence and language skills.
I select my methodologies and strategies based on student's goals, learning styles and preferences, and language proficiency. My lessons are supportive, dynamic, and adapted to each learner's pace.
