About Alla
I'm a lifelong language educator. I have extensive experience of teaching English as a second language (ESL) in the post-Soviet space. I have a degree and certification in teaching ESL, Fulbright award to teach Russian in the U.S., MA in Russian Studies (with required teaching), and a U.S. certificate in college teaching.
Native speaker of Russian, I have mostly worked in higher education but also have experience of teaching to 9-15 year olds. I have also taught to adults, including diplomats, military, and international researchers.
