About Anusha
Hi! I’m Anusha — a facilitator, curriculum designer, and researcher who loves making social sciences feel relevant, engaging, and empowering. I have a background in Sociology and Law, and I approach learning through discussion, creativity, and critical thinking rather than rote memorization. In my classes, you won’t just learn definitions — you’ll explore real-life examples, question systems, debate ideas, and connect theory to your own lived experiences. I believe classrooms should be safe, inclusive spaces where every student feels heard and respected. Whether you’re in school, college, or exploring social sciences more seriously, my goal is to help you think deeply, express confidently, and understand the world with clarity and compassion.
And I promise, no matter what we do in class, you will feel seen, heard, and respected because no matter what, every student deserves to have a safe space to learn.
I look forward to meeting you!

I take social science tutoring classes using discussion-based, reflective, and activity-led methods rather than lecture-heavy instruction. Drawing from my background in Sociology and Law, I approach topics through a socio-legal and intersectional lens, encouraging students to question power structures, gender norms, and social inequalities while grounding their learning in real-life contexts. A typical class begins with a short contextual warm-up (current affairs, case study, or reflective question), followed by concept-building through collaborative discussion, mind-mapping, and structured note-making, and concludes with application—such as debates, short writing exercises, or analytical problem-solving. My special features as a teacher include curriculum design tailored to learner needs, feminist and rights-based perspectives, strong facilitation skills, and the ability to create safe, inclusive spaces for dialogue. These classes are intended for middle and high school students, undergraduate learners, and young adults preparing for competitive exams or pursuing humanities and social science disciplines.
