About Paul Elia
Truthfully, I was not the brightest student when I entered year 7. On average, I was barely passing my courses. However, it wasn't until I had invested in a tutor, that my marks began to gradually improve. This 'hoorah' moment is what I hope to bring to the table for future students. Initially failure was demotivating, and disheartening; It left me questioning my intelligence. Tutoring provided me with the realisation that despite my failures, I had someone who believed I could do better, and was willing to devote time to ensure I achieved greater things. This is what I can bring to the table for future students. I want to show students that regardless of previous performance, you are all capable of achieving great things with the right resources!

I take a very practical approach to tutoring, in the sense that, I like to guide students to understand practical applications for the skills we are developing. Generally speaking, in my 3 years of tutoring experience, lessons will go for about an hour. These lessons are normally for high school level students, from year 7 - 12.
