About Wendy

As an immigration lawyer with extensive experience working in human rights and child protection, I bring a practical and compassionate perspective to my teaching. My methodology centres on creating an inclusive and student-centred learning environment that encourages critical thinking and meaningful engagement. I combine my real-world experience with academic theory, using case studies, problem-based learning, and open discussions to connect classroom concepts with the realities faced by vulnerable populations. This approach helps students understand the impact of legal frameworks on human lives, especially in areas such as migration and children’s rights. I strive to foster a safe space where diverse voices and perspectives are respected, promoting dialogue and collaborative learning. My goal is to empower students to develop not only academic knowledge but also a strong sense of social responsibility and the tools to effect positive change in their communities.

About the lesson
