About Aleks
Hello! My names is Aleks Fernández, and I'm a recent law school graduate with experience in tutoring students in Spanish, French, as well as History, Economics, History, and American/Hispanic Literature.
I'm originally from Miami, FL but my familial/cultural background is from Spain. I grew up speaking Spanish and French at home, and lived a few years in Paris for my graduate studies and work.
I'll be sure to get you started on the right path to practicing and learning a new language, and will be sure to tailor the sessions to your needs. I prefer placing a heavier emphasis on speaking/listening and cultural immersion than just rigid grammar-based lessons. If you are following a school lesson plan, I'll be sure to go above and beyond than just assisting you with your homework.
We will first discuss your expectations and needs for your lessons before we dive into a proper lesson plan, making sure this will be a rewarding process for you.
