About Isobel

Hello! I’m a British Law student currently studying in the Netherlands. I achieved top A-Level grades and the Norfolk County Scholar Award in Sociology (A*), Psychology (A), and English Literature (B), and have always been passionate about education and helping others succeed. I’ve supported classmates through revision, tutored my younger sisters through GCSEs, and I’ve been selected for two mentoring roles at university: one for new Law students on my course, and one for incoming international students. I also take part in legal negotiation competitions and summer law schools, which have really strengthened my communication, organisation, and teaching skills. I understand how overwhelming school exams can feel, especially with essay-based subjects like Psychology, Sociology, and English, so my goal is to make learning more manageable, less stressful, and actually enjoyable. I’m patient, reliable, and committed to helping students feel confident and prepared, whether they’re aiming for top grades or simply want things explained more clearly. About the lesson

My lessons are friendly, structured, and fully tailored to you. Whether you’re aiming for top grades or just want things to finally make sense, I adapt every session to your pace, strengths, and goals. I like to focus on helping you actually understand the subject, not just cram facts. We break down topics clearly, explore how different ideas connect, and build the skills you need to approach questions with confidence. I use a mix of discussion, examples, mini practice tasks, and guided exam-style questions to keep lessons engaging and effective. I also help students improve their essay writing, revision techniques, and overall study strategy; especially useful for subjects like Psychology, Sociology, and English Literature, where structure and clarity make a real difference in grades. Lessons are typically 60 minutes long and take place online, making it easy to fit into your schedule. I’m currently studying Law at university and achieved A* in A-Level Sociology, A in Psychology, and B in English Literature. I’ve supported classmates through school, helped younger students prepare for GCSEs, and I currently mentor law new students at university.
