About Louis
Hello! I am a friendly, hard-working and conscientious 18 year old student living in Kent. I am currently studying the LLB (Law) with Criminology at the University of Law, which I started after my GCSEs at 16 years old.
I have experience tutoring secondary schools pupils in: English Language, Mathematics and Law. I started out by tutoring family friends and younger kids at my School and I loved it! All the students I have tutored in the past have significantly improved their grades since their first session with me.
Having in the past two years taken 11 GCSEs, and gained a Certificate of Higher Education in Law, I have a lot of knowledge when it comes to exam boards, the curriculum and particularly exam technique. I can teach students the best way to tackle an exam, both in terms of time management and reducing pre-exam anxiety.

In terms of teaching style, I like to first help the student to identify the areas in subjects that they are weak in. Then, going at the student's own pace, I will slowly go through and explain all the areas they are unsure about until they are fully confident - this will evolve a lot of interactive learning, discussion and practise. Once fully confident, I would then back up that knowledge with real life test questions, essays, flashcards, etc.
