About Lethokuhle
I have previous experience tutoring highschool students in Maths, many of them were Matric students.
Experience in DBE and IEB syllabus.
Most of the lessons were 40min to 1hr long.
They were all at different academic levels with different academic goals and was able to help them in achieving them.

Step 1: I always start with a paticular problem either provided by the student.
Step 2: I ask the student to explain the procedure they're using to solve the problem. Then I troubleshoot and listen for
erroneous logic or incorrect procedure. Then we build on that in trying to workout were errors may be coming from.
Step 3: To check for understanding, I have the student re-explain the correct procedure to me. While asking specific questions that check understanding such as,
“Why did we just do that? What comes next?”
Step 4: This is the most important step, where I disengage. I encourage the student to work the next problem on their own, but let them know I will check back. The most important thing is that the student needs to develop the ability to apply what they are learning without my supervision.
