About Alina
I am a solicitor admitted to the Supreme Court and High Court of Australia practicing exclusively in litigation.
I am member of the Law Society and other practitioner associations in order to better my knowledge and to uphold a high standard in ethics.
My journey into law practice followed a successful career as a news journalist during which I won several awards for my work as a reporter.
I understand the challenges of study and re-training into a different profession.
I have sought tutoring and mentoring at various stages of my career and believe there is great value in seeking professional support, not only to learn new skills, but to feel supported in the pursuit of your ambitions.
I hold two degrees in Law and Journalism, and a sufficient amount of my journalistic studies involved arts and humanities units.
I believe every student has the ability to excel with the right guidance and genuinely enjoy seeing my students learn new skills so they can confidently pursue their dream goal.

I also teach journalism units and arts and humanities subjects.
I can help you to prepare your own assignments, exam study notes, oral presentations or anything else you’re specifically seeking.
I provide face-to-face lessons or use Zoom for online meetings and Google Docs for online document collaboration.
I have 2 degrees and have completed over 6 years of full-time undergraduate and postgraduate university education.
I have provided university students with guidance whilst at university and have personally sought mentoring throughout my career, so I understand how to best support my students.
