About Annalisa
Instruction for me is grounded in 13 years of active performance experience. I have taught 139 students, ranging from busy working professionals to students preparing for their next grade exam. My approach is direct because I value the time of my pupils and the clarity of the music. After spending many years in the studio, I transitioned to teaching full time to share what I have learnt on stage.
I work well with intermediate learners who need to refine their rhythm guitar or master complex scales and modes. My degree from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama informs the way I break down difficult electric techniques. It is important to me that you understand the mechanics behind every note you play on the fretboard. I look forward to helping you reach the level of fluency you are aiming for.

As a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, I rely on my 13 years of experience to solve your technical hurdles. We will investigate your strumming patterns and lead guitar phrasing to identify where your rhythm might be slipping. I keep my feedback very direct so you can apply it to your own practice routine immediately.
