About Dev
I am a dedicated and experienced Math and Computer Science tutor with a perfect 4.0 GPA and several years of teaching experience at Arizona State University. Through my work as a Lead Tutor for the JBMSHP program and as an Engineering Tutor at ASU, I have helped hundreds of students build strong foundations in Calculus, Algebra, and core CS subjects. Teaching is something I take seriously and personally. I focus on creating a clear, supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring difficult concepts. My goal is not just to help students improve their grades but to help them genuinely understand the material and gain confidence in their abilities. Students can expect patience, clarity, professionalism, and a structured approach that adapts to their individual learning needs. I believe that with the right guidance, every student can succeed and even enjoy the process of learning.

I focus on building strong fundamentals by breaking complex ideas into simple, intuitive steps. I use examples, guided problem solving, and frequent check-ins to make sure the student truly understands each concept. A typical lesson begins with a quick review of the topic, followed by step-by-step practice problems and a short recap to reinforce learning.
What sets me apart is my experience tutoring more than 200 students through ASU’s JBMSHP and Fulton Schools of Engineering, along with a 4.0 GPA in Computer Science and advanced mathematics coursework. I adapt each session to the student’s pace and learning style so they gain confidence and long-term mastery.
My lessons are designed for high-school and college students who are studying Calculus, Algebra, Trigonometry, Introductory Geometry, Intro to Programming, Data Structures and Algorithms, or other foundational Computer Science subjects.
