With many years of teaching experience, I am a qualified and dedicated teacher who is passionate about helping students succeed. I am a native Afrikaans speaker and hold an Advanced 120-hour TEFL Certificate, a National Higher Diploma in Post School Education, a National Diploma in Performing Art, and a Diploma in Speech and Drama. My teaching experience, combined with my communication and performance skills, allows me to create professional, well-structured, and engaging lessons. You can feel confident knowing that your learning is in experienced and caring hands.

About the lesson

Learning a new language should be enjoyable, encouraging and practical! In my lessons, you will learn Afrikaans in a relaxed environment where you can practice speaking without being afraid of making mistakes. As a native Afrikaans speaker with extensive teaching experience and a background in Drama and Speech, I use conversation, role-play and communication techniques to help you develop natural pronunciation and confidence. Lessons are tailored to your goals, whether you are a beginner, traveling to South Africa, connecting with Afrikaans-speaking family, or simply wanting to learn a beautiful new language.
