About Daiqi
I am a professional animator and multidisciplinary artist based in Brooklyn, with a Master’s degree in Computer Arts from the School of Visual Arts. I have worked as a 2D animator at BUCK and collaborated on projects for clients such as Apple, Google, Netflix, and Meta. My background combines animation, motion design, and hands-on craftsmanship, giving me a unique perspective on both digital and physical creative processes
I am passionate about teaching and enjoy helping students grow their skills with patience and clarity. I believe everyone can learn animation with the right guidance, and I focus on building both technical ability and creative confidence. My teaching style is supportive, structured, and adapted to each student’s goals.

I offer personalized lessons in animation, motion graphics, and digital art for students of all levels. Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to build a professional portfolio, I will guide you step by step through the creative and technical process. My teaching combines industry experience with a strong artistic foundation, helping you understand not only how to use tools like Adobe Creative Suite, but also how to think like an animator.
Lessons can include 2D animation, motion design, storytelling, character development, and visual composition. I also share insights from real-world projects and studios, so you can learn practical skills that apply to careers in animation and media.
