About Jason
I was a substitute teacher/tutor most of my way through college and beyond - for middle school and high school aged children, even to help adults aspire and obtain their GED. My love for the younger generations and to help lead them in the direction they should go has always been one of my greatest passions. Also ministering and encouraging the elderly in nursing homes - while painting murals in the courtyards of nursing homes.

When necessary, I like to go beyond the textbook to teach concepts through alternative methods which are engaging such as presentations, using technology, pictures, illustrations, posters, newspapers, the internet, brochures, songs, comics, library books, television. When I am looking to transform my lessons, I make sure to use a few visual learning strategies to help engage my students. By the end of every lesson I like to recap with my students what we have learned. If time permits, I will give an unofficial quiz in order to help each student improve their learning recall.

Details
My rate will remain the same no matter the age or educational level. My travel expense will increase by $5 once exceeding 15 miles and for every additional 10 miles after. I charge half the amount of the intended time-session if cancellation is needed, depending on the reason for cancellation.
