About Layla
I’m a deaf Middle Eastern student who grew up in a hearing family, so I really understand what it’s like to learn ASL from both sides. I’ve been using ASL my whole life, and I love helping others learn in a way that actually makes sense! I’m patient, easy to talk to, and I try to make sure every student feels comfortable, supported, and understood. I’ll meet you where you’re at and help you grow at your own pace!!

I’m a deaf ASL tutor who teaches using pre-recorded videos or chat, so you don’t need to worry about video calls or speaking. I focus on real, everyday ASL, not just textbook signs. And I make lessons visual, relaxed, and beginner-friendly. My goal is to help you feel confident signing in your own way and at your own pace!!
Please note: I only teach online through pre-recorded videos or chat. I do not offer webcams, host in-person lessons at my home, or travel!
