# About Me
I am Devika S. Nath, a passionate Carnatic Vocalist, Music Educator, and PhD Scholar in Music with over many years of teaching experience. I have had the privilege of guiding students from different parts of the world, helping them develop a strong foundation and deeper appreciation for Carnatic music.
My teaching approach combines traditional Carnatic music pedagogy with a structured, student-friendly approach, focusing on vocal development, swara accuracy, tala, raga understanding, musical expression, and performance skills.
As a dedicated music educator, my aim is not just to teach compositions, but to help every student understand, experience, and enjoy the beauty of Carnatic music.
