About the lesson

I believe language is a living tool, not just a set of rules. My approach is communicative and immersive, focusing on "Natural Acquisition." Instead of memorizing isolated lists, we learn through situational context. I use a mix of modern media (podcasts, news, and film) and structured grammar to ensure you build a well-rounded foundation. Every session is structured to maximize your "talking time" while ensuring steady progress: The Warm-up (5–10 mins): A casual chat in Italian about your day or a recent event to switch your brain into "Italian mode." The Core Topic (20 mins): Introducing a new grammatical concept or vocabulary set through a real-world scenario. Active Practice (20 mins): Interactive exercises, such as role-playing a scene (ordering at a restaurant, booking a hotel, or debating a topic). Review & Culture (5–10 mins): We wrap up with a "Cultural Bite"—an idiom, a gesture, or a tip about life in Italy—and set goals for the next session. What makes my lessons unique is my dual perspective. As a native Italian who has lived in Canada for 10 years, I act as a cultural bridge.
