About Soca
My name is Soca, I was born and raised in Yogyakarta, Indonesia and have used both Bahasa Indonesia and Javanese for my everyday life. I am currently studying Film at Santa Monica College in California.
I am passionate about film, art, and culture. I would be happy to include these interests in our lessons.
My goal is to create a relaxed and comfortable environment where you can learn the Indonesian language more.

My lessons focus on practical and conversational level Bahasa Indonesia that you can use in everyday situations. Whether you are a complete beginner, preparing to travel to Indonesia or simply interested in the language, I can adapt the lessons to your goals and level.
I can also include Indonesian culture such as everyday habits, food, traditional culture, and pop culture to help understand the context behind the language or better yet to learn more about the culture and the country itself.
Lessons are relaxed and flexible, with an emphasis on helping you become comfortable understanding and using Bahasa Indonesia naturally.
