About Bhavesh

I am a Certified SolidWorks Professional with 10 years of hands-on experience in machine design utilizing CAD software. My educational background includes a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Automotive Product Design. Currently, I am employed as a Mechanical Design Engineer. Proficient in various CAD software platforms such as SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD, Fusion 360, and Inventor, I possess advanced skills in utilizing these tools effectively. In addition to software proficiency, I can assist in comprehending engineering drawing concepts and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

About the lesson

Lessons are open to both engineering and high school students. Topics covered include solid modeling, 2D drawings, assembly, surfacing, weldments, sheet metal design, engineering drawing, and many more CAD topics.

My teaching method involves providing theoretical knowledge of the tools followed by practical exercises for hands-on practice. I will share my screen to demonstrate each command's functionality and provide step-by-step guidance.

Additionally, I can assist students with any doubts or complex assignments related to engineering CAD software.

When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?
My interest in mechanical engineering began during my undergraduate studies when I was first exposed to real-world product design and manufacturing processes. I was fascinated by how theoretical concepts could be transformed into functional mechanical systems. This curiosity grew stronger during my Master of Engineering (Automotive) at the University of Windsor, where I worked on advanced design and analysis projects. Since then, engineering has become both my profession and my passion.
What makes you passionate about your subject?
What excites me most about engineering is problem-solving and innovation. I enjoy breaking down complex problems and developing practical, efficient solutions. Seeing a design evolve from concept to production is extremely rewarding. I am also passionate about sharing this knowledge and helping students build strong fundamentals in design, CAD, and engineering principles.
What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?
I genuinely enjoy tutoring because it allows me to make complex topics simple and approachable. Every student learns differently, and I take pride in adapting my teaching style to match their needs.
