About Mimi

Hi! I’m Mimi, originally from Hong Kong and now based in Toronto. I’m a native Cantonese speaker and fluent in English and Mandarin.

As a mom, I understand how important patience and encouragement are when children are learning.

I enjoy creating a relaxed and supportive environment where kids and beginners can learn without feeling pressured.

My goal is to make learning Cantonese or Mandarin practical, enjoyable, and confidence-building.

About the lesson

I specialize in teaching Cantonese to kids and beginners in a fun, patient, and stress-free way.

Beginner Mandarin lessons are also available upon request.

My lessons focus on speaking, listening, pronunciation, vocabulary, and everyday conversation. I use simple conversations, pictures, games, and interactive activities to make learning enjoyable and help students build confidence.

I use Traditional Chinese and can explain everything in English when needed.

Each lesson is customized to the student’s age, level, interests, and learning pace.

My goal is to make learning Chinese practical, enjoyable, and confidence-building!
