As a native Cantonese speaker from Hong Kong, I’m passionate about sharing my language and culture in an engaging and meaningful way. I understand that Cantonese is important for staying connected, whether for children communicating with family or adults using it for travel or work. My goal is to make learning Cantonese enjoyable and practical, so students feel confident in real-world situations.

With a friendly, conversational teaching style, I blend Hong Kong’s traditions and expressions into each lesson to create an immersive experience. I’m committed to helping students build confidence and skills in a supportive, motivating environment.

About the lesson

I believe language learning should be relaxed and enjoyable, so I teach Cantonese through a casual, conversational approach. Each lesson focuses on real-life conversations, practical phrases, and common expressions to help students sound natural and confident in everyday conversations.

I incorporate reading to support character recognition, connecting spoken and written Cantonese in a meaningful way. Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals and pace, with cultural insights about Hong Kong’s traditions to add depth and connection to the language.
