About Ratih
Halo! My name is Ratih, and I am a native Indonesian speaker. I have a deep passion for my country's rich culture and diverse languages, and I love sharing this knowledge with people from all around the world.
As your tutor, I am known for being exceptionally patient, encouraging, and easy to talk to. I understand that learning a new language can feel intimidating at first, which is why I always strive to create a warm and supportive environment where making mistakes is just part of the fun.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy cooking local Indonesian food, and travelling. I love having engaging conversations about various topics, which makes our speaking practice feel natural and enjoyable. I cannot wait to meet you and guide you on your journey to mastering Indonesian!

Our lessons are fully designed to match your personal goals and learning pace. Whether you are a complete beginner starting from scratch, a student preparing for school exams (LOTE), an expat moving to Indonesia, or a traveller planning a trip to Bali, I will adapt my teaching materials for you.
We will focus on active communication. You will not just memorise grammar rules; you will practise speaking real-life Indonesian from your very first session. We will cover correct pronunciation, essential daily vocabulary, cultural etiquette, and useful local slang (bahasa gaul).
Comprehensive resources after every session. To support your independent practice, I will share the PPT slides used during our class, a clear lesson summary, and a custom vocabulary list right after we finish the session. I promise our classes will be interactive, encouraging, and stress-free. I look forward to helping you speak Bahasa Indonesia with confidence!
