About Purva
Hello! I'm a Food Technologist with a strong foundation in Chemistry and a passion for making science easy to understand. Throughout my academic and professional journey, I've seen how Chemistry plays a vital role in everything around us—from the food we eat and the medicines we take to the products we use every day. This inspired me to share my knowledge and help students appreciate the subject beyond textbooks.
I enjoy teaching because I believe every student is capable of excelling when concepts are explained in a simple, relatable way. Many students find Chemistry challenging because they focus on memorizing reactions instead of understanding the underlying principles. My aim is to change that by making every lesson interactive, practical, and easy to follow.
As a Food Technologist, I bring real-world examples from food science, quality assurance, and product development into my classes, helping students connect classroom learning with everyday life. I create a friendly and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, clearing doubts, and learning at their own pace.

My teaching approach is based on understanding concepts rather than memorizing formulas. I believe Chemistry becomes much easier when students can relate it to everyday life. As a Food Technologist, I use practical examples from food, cooking, nutrition, and industry to explain chemical principles, making lessons more interesting and easier to remember.
A typical class begins with a quick revision of previous topics, followed by a clear explanation of new concepts using diagrams, illustrations, and problem-solving techniques. Students are encouraged to ask questions throughout the session, and each lesson includes numerical practice, reaction mechanisms (where applicable), and exam-oriented questions to strengthen understanding. Every class concludes with a summary, doubt-solving, and practice assignments.
What makes my teaching unique is my professional background in Food Technology, where Chemistry is applied every day in product development, food processing, quality control, and food safety. This allows me to connect textbook concepts with real-world applications, helping students understand not just the theory but also its practical relevance.
