My goal as a teacher is for each student to enjoy the process of learning chess while developing a solid understanding of the game. I believe that progress depends not only on memorizing openings or moves, but also on understanding the ideas behind every decision on the board. My classes are aimed at beginner and intermediate players (up to approximately 1800 FIDE), including children, teenagers, and adults. I adapt the content to each student's level, pace, and goals, whether it's learning from scratch, preparing for tournaments, improving their performance on online platforms, or simply deepening their understanding of the game. I work with a practical and personalized methodology. In each session, we combine theory with exercises and games so that the concepts can be applied immediately. Some of the topics we cover are: Fundamental opening principles. Tactics (pins, double attacks, discovered attacks, etc.). Strategy and planning. Essential endgames. Analysis of our own games and those of grandmasters. Identification and correction of common mistakes. An example of a class would be: A brief review of the previous session. Introduction of a new concept with examples. Guided problem-solving of exercises. Practical game or analysis of a student's game. Feedback and recommendations for further practice. As a teacher, I pride myself on creating a patient, supportive, and motivating learning environment. I aim to make students feel comfortable asking questions and understanding the reasoning behind each move. My more than four years of experience as a player, along with my FIDE-certified School Instructor training, allows me to teach in a structured way, tailored to each student's needs. My goal is not only to help you win more games but also to develop your strategic thinking, analytical skills, and confidence at the board.
