About Luke

I teach Traditional Chinese and enjoy helping students improve their speaking, listening, pronunciation, and daily conversation skills in a relaxed and practical way.

I especially enjoy teaching students who want to learn Chinese for work, business, travel, or cultural interests. My lessons are friendly, interactive, and tailored to each student’s level and goals. I hope to help students build confidence and enjoy learning Chinese step by step!

About the lesson

Hello everyone! My name is Luke, and I am a passionate Chinese teacher from Taiwan. Since I was young, I have been teaching my younger sisters, and through that experience, I discovered my passion for education. This passion has stayed with me ever since and continues to motivate me to learn how to teach others more effectively.

In my teaching, I focus on helping students understand the deeper meanings behind the language, rather than simply memorising grammar and vocabulary. I believe every student has their own unique learning style, so I tailor my lessons according to each student’s needs, making learning both more enjoyable and more efficient.

Apart from teaching, my interests include reading and watching legal dramas. I enjoy expanding my knowledge through reading, and I also draw inspiration from legal series, which helps me incorporate more meaningful and engaging content into my lessons.

I hope we can explore the world of Chinese together and grow together along the way!

During the teaching process, I place great emphasis on personalised learning, helping each student find the study methods that suit them best. I make flexible use of various online teaching materials and combine fun, interaction, and practicality to make learning Chinese lively and enjoyable. I strongly believe that a great learning experience comes from understanding each student’s learning style and tailoring lessons specifically for them.

In addition, I have a strong interest in law and linguistics. These academic backgrounds allow me to bring greater depth and breadth into my teaching, helping students not only learn Chinese, but also understand the culture and logic behind the language.

I am passionate about education and constantly learning new teaching methods to ensure my students receive the best possible learning experience. I look forward to exploring the wonderful world of Chinese with you and accompanying you as we grow together on this learning journey!
