About Ziyang

Hello everyone, I’m Ziyang. I come from Liaoning, China, and I warmly welcome you to visit Liaoning.

I have a solid educational background, holding a master's degree in FinTech from the University of Nottingham in the UK, which has given me deep insights and a unique perspective on cross-cultural communication. During my time studying in the UK, I thoroughly enjoyed communicating with classmates and friends from different countries. I also helped many foreign friends learn to speak fluent and authentic Mandarin. I firmly believe that learning a new language not only adds a skill but also shapes your way of thinking. That’s why, in my classes, learning is both effective and enjoyable.

I have an outgoing and lively personality, and I always approach each day with a positive mindset. I understand that a teacher's attitude and emotions can directly impact students' learning, so I always strive to maintain a calm and joyful heart. I aim to inspire every student with my enthusiasm and smile, creating a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere for learning.

At the same time, I care deeply about every student’s progress. In class, I listen carefully to students, understanding their needs and challenges, and I do my best to offer targeted help and guidance. I believe every student is unique, and by genuinely understanding and caring for them, we can make their learning journey smoother.

About the lesson

My lessons are specially tailored for individuals who want to learn Mandarin: since everyone has different reasons for learning the language, you can discuss your goals with me, and I will design a course specifically to suit your needs, ensuring optimal learning outcomes. My classes focus on speaking and communication, starting with practical conversation scenarios. We move away from traditional rote learning and incorporate a lot of spoken practice, which naturally improves speaking abilities. Through lots of interaction, I’ll help you become familiar with using Mandarin in different contexts and provide deeper insights into Chinese culture.

Each session typically lasts one hour and is suitable for beginners to advanced learners, including those looking to improve their spoken Chinese or prepare for exams. Whether you aim to learn basic Chinese or enhance your skills for professional purposes, my lessons are designed to help you achieve your goals efficiently.
