About Davide

With years of international experience as both a performer and educator, I bring a well-rounded, student-focused approach to every lesson. I’ve played in great venues like Dizzy’s Club in New York and the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. With three years of teaching experience—including a year in two New York City schools—I’ve developed clear, effective ways to engage learners of all ages. My goal is to help you feel confident, inspired —whether you’re preparing for an audition, picking up your instrument for the first time, or diving deeper into jazz or classical music. I’m patient, encouraging, and passionate about helping musicians at any level grow and enjoy the journey.

Meet Your Music Tutor — Davide Ciao! I’m Davide — a 24-year-old Italian professional musician and multi-instrumentalist based in New York City. I play clarinet, bass clarinet, tenor, and baritone saxophone, and I specialize in both jazz and classical music. I've been gigging across Europe and the US in the last 6 years, and I bring that stage experience into every lesson. Whether you're aiming for conservatory auditions, building your improvisation chops, or just picking up the instrument for the first time, I’m here to help you grow with clarity, structure, and creativity.
