« Perfect! The lessons are based on your own skill sets. I came in with no experience and now I have more experience in the language. Just to point out, it takes a lot of determination and persistence to study language so I do recommend sticking to a set schedule for self-study. Even if it's just one hour a day before the next lesson, it makes a difference. You are able to set flexible times to meet. Also, if you need help during your self-study, you are able to message through a Korean platform. Jeannie has been my tutor for three months now and I learned more about the Korean language then I did when I was trying to learn by myself. I 100% recommend her as a tutor for anyone who is interested in learning Korean language. »

Learn to communicate in Korean in 6 months from a native speaker (Houston)

Methodology

I was born and raised in Seoul and have since learned to speak 4 languages (working on my fifth). I use my own curriculum that focuses on stitching together words while training the ear to listen for three main tenses (present, past, future).

Background

I enjoy teaching Korean and have taught students to read, speak, and write in three tenses in 7 months (an hour a week).

Rates

Rate for online lessons : $60/h

Rate for 5 hours of lessons : $290

Rate for 10 hours of lessons : $550

Details

I request cancellations to be made 24 hrs in advance; I charge 50% of the tuition for cancellations made after that.
