About Santino
I’ve worked in professional kitchens for more than 25 years, with experience ranging from casual restaurants and high-volume kitchens to running a kitchen as a head chef. Most of what I know came from years of hands-on experience, working alongside other cooks and chefs, and learning what actually works in a real kitchen.
I’m comfortable teaching everything from basic cooking skills to more advanced techniques, but I don’t believe cooking needs to be intimidating or overly complicated. My goal is to help you understand the fundamentals, build confidence, and become comfortable enough in the kitchen that you don’t have to rely on a recipe for every meal.

My lessons are hands-on and built around what you actually want to learn. With 25 years of professional kitchen experience, I focus on practical techniques rather than making cooking complicated.
We can start with the basics or jump into a specific dish or skill, including pizza, sandwiches, sauces, proteins, knife skills, meal prep, and general kitchen technique. I’ll demonstrate the process, explain why each step matters, then work alongside you as you do it yourself.
