About
I have been teaching ESL since I graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelors in Spanish in 2013. I then went on to enter Mercy College's TESOL Masters program which I will finish in December, 2017. I first taught at EF Language school in Tarrytown, NY. I then moved on to be the Assistant Director of the Bridge Language program at Manhattanville College. I had the opportunity at both jobs to be creative with my lessons and teach to a very diverse body of students. I have taught adults, high school and middle school students as well as Au Pairs and General English students. I have had very good feedback from students. I am a very friendly teacher and believe in a great classroom environment and relationship between student and teacher.

My name is Nicolette, I am an ESL teacher who has taught almost all age levels and cultures. From my own second language learning, I have learned that speaking and engaging in intelligent conversation with native speakers is a major key to learning all languages. I have been lucky enough to experience hundreds of different cultures and learning styles. I adapt very easily to what a student wants and needs. I am also very knowledgable about American culture and modern day English as well as Academic and Business English. Besides my experience in enhancing speaking skills, I have also taught writing and grammar classes. I enjoy all types of teaching, if it is grammar you want then no problem, if it is conversation also no problem! I am very diverse and will accommodate to my students' needs. I also love integrating technology into lessons, computers, phones and other technological devices can be amazing tools to learning a new language.
