About Celine

I have been teachning English for 15 years to pupils aged 7-20 over periods of one year on average, at a rate of 1 to 2 classes per week.

I also taught european classes at College.

The first visible result of my teaching is always the renewed motivation and taste for learning and speaking English. Session after session, the confidence level increases, the expression becomes more free, grammar and conjugation are assimilated through practice. All this sounds and shows.

For pupils and students, academic performance rises significantly. Each student is unique, but in general, the notes of my students increases by 5 points within 6 months, at 2 hours per week.

About the lesson

I always had pleasure in learning this language which I teach in a creative and funny way. I teach English to all levels and for all ages: school, leisure, tourism, business. I am bilingual and speak English without an accent, which always surprises my English friends and colleagues! The same goes for German, which I speak fluently and teach for school, leisure and business purposes as well.

I constantly innovate and my first goal as an experienced teacher is to adapt to your needs and to build the content of my courses according to your expectations. Content:

The content of my courses varies according to your center of interests and your difficulties. I give you my tips and tricks to improve your memory, your confidence and your writing and speaking skills.

Technique:

In my mind, the technique must always serve the expression. That's why I always teach grammar, conjugation and spelling in a context that makes you want to express yourself with new tools. This way, new grammar rules are assimilated more naturally as it is experienced positively.

Phonetics:

Phonetics is approached in a playful way and according to the tastes of students, music and singing are powerful media to acquire new sounds.

First lesson:

Each coaching starts with a free dialog allowing me to target your needs, understand your goals and develop a personalized teaching programme allowing you to reach or exceed them. I also realize a test of your written and oral skills during this startup session.

Duration:

Each course lasts one hour for students enrolled in primary and secondary school. From the high school level, a course may last longer depending on your needs. I also organize intensive courses during school holidays. I give homework between sessions up to your goals.

Format:

Individual lessons. I can teach two students, friends or colleagues at the same level at the same time if their goals are common.

Where and when?

I give lessons at your home during the week, in the morning, the afternoon and late afternoon. For professionals with complex planning, I can move to your workplace, organize "lunch & learn" in English or German in your meeting rooms. I can also offer distance courses on the phone, as well as via webcam.

What else?

In addition and for all interested people, I organize workshops on request with fun activities at home or outside to practice English or German while having fun: cooking, recreational sports, creative arts, cultural outgoings, writing, reading, theater and singing. This can be done during the week, during the day, on evenings and at weekends. If you are interested, please let me know your requirements.
