About Francesca
Hello! I'm Francesca, a native English speaker from the UK.
I am a friendly, enthusiastic and passionate person. Outside of teaching, I love to travel, listen to and play music, and be outdoors.
- I can teach about slang and culture from different English-speaking countries as well as formal English.
- I have a BSc degree in Psychology, so can teach university-level language and writing, and understand different learning styles and techniques.
- I received an A grade in Advanced Level Business Studies, so can help you with business English.
- I speak an intermediate level of Spanish, and am taking classes, so know how it feels to be an adult learning a foreign language.

I am TEFL certified and have previous experience teaching English as a Foreign Language online as a private tutor on other platforms. In addition, I have also worked as an au pair, teaching English to children as well as working in the education sector as a teaching assistant. I have experience working with people with various disorders such as Autism and ADHD, so can tailor my lessons to fit different learning styles if needed.
I will incorporate a range of different skills (reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, and pronunciation) into both lessons and homework. I dedicate a lot of time to making lesson plans that are specific to your goals to help you reach them in an enjoyable and effective way.
If you're wanting to practice English to be able to speak more fluently then I will cover a wide range of topics to help to improve your vocabulary and challenge yourself, however if you're learning for a more specific purpose e.g. to work towards a job interview, then I can create lesson plans to be more specific to this. Whatever it is you're working towards, I can adapt my teaching to complement it.
