About Emma
Hi, I am Emma, and I am happy to support you on your English language learning journey. Language and communication are my greatest passions, and I am inspired to help others communicate efficiently and confidently.
I hold a Master's degree in Journalism, and I am currently in the process of receiving TESOL teaching certification. I have always expressed a deep interest in the English language, which has translated to my ability to write. I have experience in tutoring English at a middle-school level, but I am able to meet the needs of all levels from beginner to working proficiency.
Whatever your learning needs may be, I am here to help you achieve your goals.

My teaching approach is flexible, fun and engaging, and my method is very much reflective of the student's needs and dependent upon what the student is seeking to improve (reading, writing, vocabulary, or some combination of all three areas).
I find it ideal to meet for a first lesson for free beforehand in order to create a lesson plan that is tailored to the specific needs and objectives of the student.
Generally, I prefer to implement, to some extent, all three skills (reading, writing and vocabulary) into each lesson plan to diversify the student's knowledge of the English language, but priority will be placed on whatever the student needs.
