About Margaux

My name is Margaux, and I am a Franco-British tutor with a strong academic background in law and languages. I hold a double degree in French and English law and I am currently completing a Master’s degree in International Law, taught entirely in English. This academic path reflects both my bilingual proficiency and my ability to work with precision, structure and high standards.
Having studied within both the French and British education systems, I developed a deep understanding of how languages are learnt—and how they are often taught in ways that can feel rigid or discouraging. This experience has shaped my professional approach to tutoring: clear, supportive and results-oriented.
I take my role as a tutor seriously. Each lesson is prepared with care, adapted to the student’s level and objectives, and delivered in a calm and professional manner. I place great importance on clarity, reliability and consistency, ensuring that students feel supported while making real and measurable progress.
My aim is to provide high-quality, personalised tuition in a structured and reassuring learning environment, allowing each student to build confidence and fluency at their own pace.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is based on clarity, structure and confidence-building. I believe that languages are best learnt through active use, not passive memorisation. For this reason, my lessons combine clear explanations with practical application, allowing students to understand how the language works and to use it naturally.
Each lesson is tailored to the student’s level, objectives and learning style. I use a mix of guided conversation, targeted exercises, real-life examples and structured feedback. Particular attention is given to oral expression, comprehension and fluency, while ensuring that grammar and vocabulary are fully understood and correctly used.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, which I find to be the ideal format to ensure focus, progression and effective learning. Longer or shorter sessions can be arranged depending on the student’s needs.
I hold a double degree in French and English law and I am currently completing a Master’s degree in International Law, taught entirely in English. This academic background allows me to teach languages with precision, professionalism and a strong understanding of academic and professional expectations. I have also been helping students and peers with language learning for many years, which has shaped a patient, structured and supportive teaching style.
My lessons are suitable for students, adults and professionals, from beginner to advanced level. I support learners seeking academic improvement, professional language skills, exam preparation, or simply greater confidence in everyday communication.
My goal is to provide serious, well-prepared and personalised lessons in a calm and encouraging environment, enabling students to make steady and lasting progress.
