NATIVE OF FRANCE (PARIS), LIVED MANY YEARS IN SOUTH AMERICA, I AM CERTIFIED (ILLINOIS CERTIFICATION) TO TEACH BOTH LANGUAGES .
I HAVE 20 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE , 5 LAST YEARS MOSTLY ONLINE.
TEACHES ALL AGES 7-99 AT ALL LEVELS A1 UP TO C2.
ALSO CORPORATE, BUSINESS EXECUTIVES.
ALSO, WILL HELP YOU PREP FOR AP FRENCH , AP SPANISH , BI-LITERACY SEAL, DELE, DELF EXAMS.

About the lesson

The purpose of learning a language is to understand and be understood, and that’s where we start. Your desire and motivation to speak and understand French or Spanish are key elements. Guidance and expertise of an enthusiastic teacher are also great tools to achieve your goal of becoming a confident French or Spanish speaker. As a lifelong learner myself, I know that learning a new language can seem daunting and sometimes insurmontable. With patience an individually tailored approach, I have brought many learners to proficiency or even fluency. I follow a context-based approach to language teaching.
We start every class with real life conversation: how are you? how was the day, the week, the weekend, the vacation? Did you do or learn something you want to talk about? ....My students and I talk about our lives, create stories together, practice role-play and real-life situations, and learn about the world by discussing articles and videos in the target language. By acquiring language naturally in this way, students are best able to learn and retain vocabulary and grammatical structures.
However, if the student needs to work on specific materials, this would be the priority.
Whatever the content of the class, I believe in creating a fun and supportive learning environment where each student feels comfortable and motivated. My teaching style is interactive and engaging, to make learning French or Spanish both enjoyable and practical.
