About Kathia

Hi! I’m a French teacher from Canada with over three years of teaching experience across a variety of settings. I began my journey in Canadian primary schools, worked on humanitarian missions where I used education to make a difference, and most recently, I’ve spent the past year teaching in a secondary school in the UK. My teaching style is adaptable, supportive, and student-focused. I believe learning French should be practical, enjoyable, and tailored to your goals—whether you’re studying for an exam, preparing for travel, or simply learning for the love of the language. With a strong foundation in both French and English, I’m here to help you gain confidence and fluency, one personalised lesson at a time.

About the lesson

Whether you’re preparing for an important exam, brushing up for a trip abroad, or simply learning for the love of language, my French lessons will be designed with YOU in mind. I believe that learning a new language can be fun, engaging and practical. Our first lesson is all about you. We’ll take the time to discuss your goals, your current level, and how you like to learn. From there, I’ll design a personalised learning plan that fits your needs. Every lesson will build on what matters most to you. As a passionate and experienced French teacher, I offer personalised one-on-one sessions that adapt to your level, learning style, and interests. Want to focus on grammar? We’ll dive deep. Prefer conversational practice? We’ll keep it real and relevant. From absolute beginners to advanced learners, my lessons are crafted to help you grow confidently and comfortably at your own pace. I’ll meet you where you are and help you get where you want to go—en français!
