About Justine
I am originally from France, and I moved to Québec in December 2020 to study Chemistry (BSc, then MSc). I recently moved to Vancouver for work. I'm a Product Development Specialist for a cosmetic company based in BC.
I love reading, playing games, trekking, and working out. I also really enjoy painting (watercolor is my favorite) and creating things in general, like pottery, cosmetics, paintings, or clothes.
I love traveling, and among other countries, I traveled alone and by van all around Japan for three months.
I know the struggles of learning a new language because I’m currently learning Japanese. I like being able to speak the language of the country I’m planning to visit because it allows me to connect with people and cultures. So if you like learning new things, especially languages, don’t hesitate and come learn with me!

Salut ! Je n’ai pas vraiment de plan de cours fixe : nous pouvons discuter de tes objectifs ensemble lors de la première séance et les adapter en fonction de ce que tu recherches (vocabulaire, grammaire, conversation, compréhension orale, lecture, etc.). Nous pouvons parler uniquement en français si tu es déjà à un niveau avancé et que tu souhaites perfectionner tes compétences, mais en plus du français, je peux aussi t'apporter un soutien en anglais, espagnol (B2) et un peu en japonais (je suis encore en train d’apprendre moi-même !).
Tu apprendras le français grâce à des conversations amusantes et naturelles sur les jeux, les livres, les films, le sport, les arts et beaucoup d’autres sujets que tu aimes, afin de gagner en confiance pour parler de tout ! Je peux aussi parfois utiliser de petites saynètes pour t’aider à pratiquer des dialogues et à remettre le vocabulaire en contexte.
Mes cours sont particulièrement adaptés aux personnes qui veulent voyager, vivre ou travailler dans des endroits où le français est utile. Apprendre le français peut aussi faciliter ton intégration, y compris pour des démarches administratives comme l’obtention de la résidence permanente, et cela pourrait aussi t'aider à te faire des amis ainsi qu'à te familiariser avec la culture locale si tu souhaites voyager ou t’installer dans un pays francophone!
N’hésite pas à me contacter dans l’une de ces langues si tu n’es pas encore à l’aise en français (ne t’inquiète pas, ça viendra vite !). J’ai vraiment hâte de t’aider à apprendre le français !
Hi! I don’t really have a fixed lesson plan: we can discuss your goals together during the first lesson and adapt them based on what you’re looking for (vocabulary, grammar, conversation, listening, reading, etc.). We can speak only in French if you are already at an advanced level and want to polish your skills but besides French, I can also provide support in English, Spanish (B2) and some Japanese (but still learning myself)!
You’ll learn French through fun and natural conversations about games, books, movies, sports, arts, and many other topics that you may like so that you can gain confidence speaking about anything! I may also use short skits to help you practice dialogues and learn new vocabulary in context.
My lessons are especially suited for people who want to travel, live, or work in places where French is useful. Learning French can also make settling in much easier, including for administrative processes like obtaining permanent residency, and it helps you connect with people and the local culture if you want to travel or move to a French-speaking country!
