About Kalyani

Over the past 5 years on the Superprof platform, I’ve had the exciting opportunity to meet students from across continents, each with their own passion for learning German—whether for work, travel, or simply as a new skill. It’s been incredibly fulfilling to share this love for the German language and help others achieve their goals. The excitement of helping others connect with a language that has opened so many doors for me is something I truly enjoy.

I hold a post-graduate degree in MBA and have completed my C1.1 level in German from the Goethe Institute, Pune. My academic background in German language combined with my business education has given me a unique perspective in teaching German in a structured and practical way. I understand the challenges beginners face, which is why I focus on teaching simple tricks and effective techniques that helped me progress and that I now share with my students.

In my classes, I focus on building a strong foundation in pronunciation, grammar, and practical usage. I aim to make the learning process interactive, engaging, and relevant by incorporating real-life examples and fun exercises. My approach ensures that students are always confident and comfortable, whether they’re tackling their school curriculum or learning for personal or professional reasons.

My Teaching Method

I believe in starting with the basics of the German language and making every lesson engaging and enjoyable. Special attention is given to each student, ensuring that everyone’s needs and pace are addressed. My classes are friendly, interactive, and dynamic, filled with productive activities that help reinforce learning in a fun and effective way.

Student progress and interests are my top priority. I tailor my approach to match each student's learning style, whether you're preparing for school exams or planning to travel to Germany. Having completed exams up to B1 level at Max Mueller Bhavan, I bring valuable exam-oriented strategies into the classroom.

I offer classes for 5th to 12th-grade students who have German as a subject, as well as anyone interested in learning for travel or work. Classes are designed to be flexible and are conducted based on each student’s comfort level, ensuring that everyone progresses at their own pace.

Excellent! Pros - Prompt in responding. She was tired after a long day at work. She was kind enough to conduct the demo in late evening hours at last minute notice.

Cons - Demo was taken in a tired state. She lost her train of thoughts when the student asked doubts. She asked the student not to interrupt in the demo so that she doesn't lose the flow. That is the only glitch in the demo.

Perfect! Kalyani is a nice teacher and understands her responsibilities well. I had a demo class with her and I liked it alot but could not continue due to my own personal reasons. But I highly recommend her as she is a great person and a very nice teacher!

Perfect! Kalyani Mam is a rare diamond who turns her students into diamonds by slowly polishing their skills such as pronunciation, writing , grammar, vocabulary etc and makes it much easier for them to grasp the roots of German language. Her classes give a kind of positive energy filled with joy.
My daughter is blessed to be taught by a wise teacher. She is amongst a rare breed of GURUs who imparts knowledge at affordable rates and a dedicated and humble sister figure who tries to bond with the child or adult by coming down to the student's German language understanding level. She makes sure that your pronunciation and enunciation sound purely German. Shee gives you notes after every session and tries to understand your brain's capacity of German language absorption. This teacher doesn't teach for money.
Her classes are a good way for you to understand her methodology of making it fun for the student so that knowledge seeps into his/her brain effortlessly. Personal attention is given to each student as well as the freedom to ask their doubts and get their queries answered.

I have been following Kalyani since Nov 2020 for my German study. Kalyani is a very experienced teacher. We always talk a lot in the beginning of the class. Through talking, she could point out my mistakes and introduce new words and grammers. I find it's a very effective way of practising speaking, revising old words/grammers and learning new ones.
