About Khushi

Hey there! I’m Khushi, a UX/UI and Web Design tutor who believes that great design is more than just pretty colors and fancy buttons—it’s about making things actually work for people. If you've ever looked at a confusing app and thought, "Who designed this?!"—congrats, you’re already thinking like a UX designer! I have an MSc in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) from University College Dublin and a Professional Diploma in UX Design, plus 1+ year of real-world experience creating intuitive digital experiences. I know what it's like to start from scratch, and I’m here to make learning simple, practical, and (hopefully) fun! About the lesson

Design can feel overwhelming at first. Wireframes, typography, UI patterns… and wait, what’s a heuristic?! Don’t worry, I’ve got you! My lessons are practical, interactive, and beginner-friendly—because the best way to learn design is by actually designing (and making a few terrible layouts along the way).

I follow a simple Learn → Apply → Improve approach:
Learn: I break down design concepts in a way that makes sense, using real examples.
Apply: We work on exercises together, so you can get comfortable using design tools.
Improve: I provide honest, constructive feedback to help you refine your skills.

I also share insights from my experience, tips, and practical workflows so you can start thinking like a pro from day one.

Lesson Format & Duration
Each session lasts 60–90 minutes (but I’m flexible if we need extra time).
100% online—so you can learn from the comfort of your home, in PJs if you want.
️ We’ll use Figma as our primary design tool—no complicated software, just a browser-based, easy-to-learn platform.

Each session is tailored to your pace and goals, and I provide extra resources, project feedback, and real-world tips to keep you progressing.

My Background & Experience
MSc in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) from University College Dublin
Professional Diploma in UX Design
1+ year of experience in UX/UI and Web Design, working on real-world projects

I’ve worked on a range of UX/UI projects, from user research and wireframing to high-fidelity UI design—all using Figma. My focus is to teach you the skills that matter in real-world design jobs.
