About Luke
Hi!
I have been touring and recording as a guitar player for almost 20 years!
I am based in Nashville, TN
I have toured playing guitar with Kelly Clarkson, TobyMac, David Nail, Casting Crowns, Mandisa, Danny Gokey, and many others.
I've taught hundreds of one-on-one lessons over the years, and really enjoy getting to know new people
all over the world.
I really look forward to seeing how I can help you progress on the guitar, and in music in general!

I base my guitar teaching on learning the "blueprint" of the instrument.
It is wonderful to learn your favorite songs, but, if you really want to get something
fulfilling out of any instrument, you need to know how music works, and how to apply it
to your instrument. Scales, Chords, Rhythm, Ear Training, Right and left hand technique, Fingerboard memorization and visualization are some of the topics covered in my teaching. Also, I teach the techniques for playing many different styles/genres, including jazz guitar techniques.
