About Estuardo De Jesus
I teach guitar like a guide who wants both a clear map and a musical sound. I watch left-hand economy and right-hand time, and I listen for whether the part still feels like the song. When something does not stick, I redraw it: a simpler shape, a sung bass line, a visual on the neck, or a side-by-side fingering comparison so you can feel and hear which option stays freer.
I am practical and lightly experimental in the room. We try, listen, adjust one variable, and try again. That keeps lessons lively without turning them chaotic. Beginners feel supported; experienced players feel challenged to clean habits that quietly limit their sound.
I skip empty pep talks. Encouragement arrives as better tools—cleaner fingerings, clearer counting, a smaller loop that finally works. Independence matters: I want you learning songs at home with your ear as a reliable coach, not waiting for someone else to decode every chord.
Time with me feels clear and song-driven. Expect fretboard logic that helps, patient fixes for stubborn changes, and a steady return from exercises into playing you recognize and enjoy.

In my guitar lessons the fretboard becomes something you can hear as well as see. We learn small movable patterns—intervals, shapes, chord outlines—and we check them against a clear model so your ear confirms what your fingers found. If a barre chord collapses when the song changes, we isolate pressure and finger placement, compare two hand positions, and keep the one that rings cleaner. Beginners build first chords this way; intermediate and advanced players use the same habit for lead lines, harmony, and navigating the neck with intention.
Hard spots are treated as transitions you can hear failing. You might loop only the change between two chords, slow the rhythm until the late finger is obvious, or mute the strings and rehearse the left-hand landing until it is quiet and sure. Right-hand rhythm often gets practiced on open strings first so your ear locks the groove before fretting complexity returns. Improvisation, when you are ready, usually starts with limits: three notes, one string, or one rhythmic cell—so choices stay deliberate and musical rather than random.
Songs stay at the center. Technical work has to earn its place by showing up in music you care about in the same lesson. I might reduce a riff to its skeleton—root motion, chord outline, rhythmic hook—then rebuild detail once the sound of the structure is solid. Children get short songs and clear physical cues; teens and adults can push into fingerstyle, lead, or harmony while still using movable patterns and honest listening checks.
Practice at home follows: name the sticky change, hear the target, shrink the problem, prove it slowly, then plug it back into the song. Over time you stop guessing where notes live and start navigating by ear and pattern together.
