About Ronnie
I have been a teacher at the University level, the community college level, the high school level and middle school level. I have also taught younger students. I began teaching in 1980! I have a valid California Teaching Credential. I have also taught in Hebrew Schools in NYC, Boston, and Los Angeles. I have also taught in Tel Aviv and attended Tel Aviv University. Finally, in 1993, while at Columbia University in New York, I won a Fulbright Fellowship to live and do research in Israel.The Hebrew language is definitely one of my passions!

I am a friendly, non-threatening, passionate teacher. A typical Hebrew lesson will involve watching a Hebrew video, discussing the video. I can tailor the lesson to your needs. If you want to work on reading, we can do that. I am best suited to someone from beginner to advanced intermediate. Any age.
If you are interested in Hebrew from a religious perspective, I am familiar with the liturgy and torah tropes.
What sets me apart is that, although I am American-born, I have an Israeli background and have lived in Israel with my Israeli family. So I am coming to Hebrew with both an American and an authentic Israeli perspective.

Details
I do charge extra for travel depending on how far I need to drive. I hope you understand. Also, student may need to purchase a book depending on what they are studying. Finally, I charge $40 for the first hour lesson, so--sorry to say--it is not free.
