  • Do you speak this language fluently because of your origins or because a teacher inspired you to learn?

Hindi came easy from growing up in Punjab, where we speak it at home every day. A simple teacher made it fun with old songs, not just my roots. Now it feels natural, like talking to family. No big story, just daily life.
  • Can you name a living, historical or fictional character that you think is the emblematic representative of the language's culture?

Hindi poets like Gulzar , he is the true voice of Hindi culture today. His poems like Raat Pashmine Ki and lyrics touch hearts with simple truth. He writes on life and quiet feelings, no show—just real emotion. That's our Hindi soul.
  • Is there a typical word, phrase, tradition or behaviour in the language that you particularly like?

I love saying "Namaste" with folded hands; it shows respect so purely. Sharing tea and samosas with neighbors is my favorite habit. It's warm, no fuss. Makes life feel connected.
  • Why does speaking this language matter to you?

Hindi keeps me close to my people and their stories.
  • What is the main difficulty in learning this language and what can help the process of learning?

Devanagari letters look tricky at start; just copy them daily from books. Grammar genders mix up—listen to radio news to get it. Chat with anyone, don't worry mistakes. Practice slow, it sticks.
  • Provide a valuable anecdote related to your language learning or your days at school.

Once in school, I blanked on a poem line, said wrong word, everyone giggled. Teacher said keep going, and I did. Felt good after. Taught me to laugh at slips and try again.
  • How has travel or a specific trip helped you to increase your skill and knowledge of the language?

Trip to Agra with friends—talked Hindi whole way, from Taj stories to street eats. Locals shared real words I'd never read in books. No classes, just living it. Skills grew fast.
  • What makes you a Superprof in language?

I teach Hindi from my own simple ways, no fancy stuff. Mix stories, daily conversation plus grammer rules. Students get it quick, speak free. Patient listening makes me good at it.
