About LAURA
We all know that at times even the simplest "Bonjour" at the supermarket gets replied with "Pardon?" and a switch to English speech. However, since we live in France and we love the french language, I propose you my class in order to learn how to better express yourself in French and make yourself understood more easily.
I am here also for people outside France who would like to improve or just refresh their knowledge in French.
I suggest you during this class to focus on oral expression, discussions on various subjects (your passions, hobbies, news, travels, culture, discovering France or any other subject you would like to discuss), notions of vocabulary (words, daily expressions), grammar inquiries or any other question you might have, I am opened to your suggestions!
I could also provide you with texts to read quietly at home, have you transcribed videos / podcasts in order to work on your writing skills or recommend you bloggers / vloggers according to your passions.
Being myself a former student here in France, I learned that the easiest yet most effective way to learn a new language is the informal one rather than the classic school one (learning by heart conjugations and expressions - nope!). I think that (mostly) by exchanging with natives on various subjects, in a relaxed context we are able to learn the fastest and the information sticks with us more easily.
For information, the first class will be just a get to know each other and find out more about your level and your learning approach and then I will adapt according to your needs.

Hello! My name is Laura, born Romanian, but lived in France since 2017.
I did my studies in a bilingual English high school and continued to work in the marketing sector in English and French.
My mother tongue is Romanian, I speak English and French fluently, my level of Spanish is beginner. I am an open, patient and sociable person. I am passionate about cooking, interior design and discovering new cultures.
