About Gilberto
Hello, my name is Gilberto Tapia. I’m a U.S. Army veteran, and I was the lead driver of my artillery unit also known as the Top Gun Driver. I’ve driven hundreds of cars working for Audi from multiple R8s, RS-7s, RS-3s to Chevy Z28, Bentley, Golf R32, M3s, AMGs, Multiple Subaru STIs. I’ve worked with Audi, Porsche, and BMW all to support my passion for driving in the Canyons. I’ve been exploring different mountain roads for over 10 years and am familiar with nearly every mountain route in SoCal. Driving them sometimes 7 days a week twice a day. I’ve focused on 1 topic Driving Canyons day and night.

This is an advanced course that even amateurs can take. You’ll experience some of the best roads in the world all in one area SoCal. With multiple roads to choose from with amazing views overlooking the city, ocean, or desert. This is a detailed 3-hour lesson ($260 includes 3 hours) learning different driving techniques like optimal driving position, optimal hand placement, left foot braking, hitting apexes (perfect entry and exits), heel and toe downshifts, trail braking, reading road conditions, and correct eye positioning. You will learn in an all-wheel drive, turbocharged slightly upgraded Mitsubishi Evo 9 with better brakes, tires, and suspension.
