About Jonathan
I have been skateboarding for the better half of 16 years and was once sponsored by a company called "A-OK Skate Co." (RIP) that would send me decks all the way from Massachusetts for 50% off! There are certain levels to being sponsored, there is "flow" which is just getting the 'homie hookup' like I did haha just pretty much discounts on merchandise and shout-outs on social media. Then there are "amateur" and "professional". There is a fine line between being Am or Pro and IMO, the only difference is that the pro's have their name on product and because of that they get paid more through sales. There are an incredible number of Ams that are unbelievable skateboarders, some even enter and win the professional contests!

My teaching method would be first off finding out how YOU learn as an individual. This is ideal to figuring out what is the best method that helps you. For skateboarding, just like lots of things in life, there are a million and one ways to do something successfully! So we have to figure out first off how do you even ride a skateboard? Are you regular footed or goofy footed? What does that even mean? How do you turn while riding? How do you get the board to stay with your feet? I will teach you to the best of my ability and start from where YOU are at!
