About Conchobar

I am from County Cavan, in Ulster, but I'm also well-versed in the Connacht and Munster dialects of Irish. I enjoy watching films and television in Irish - there is a huge range of choice. I always hope to be able to introduce people to the world of Irish-language media, which can be very entertaining and rewarding.

About the lesson

The aim of my lessons is to give students of Irish the confidence and ability to comfortably converse in Irish and to easily understand Irish media such as films, television or novels. This sort of competency is hugely helpful when sitting Junior or Leaving Cert exams
